Max A. Johnson, or "Andy" as clients know him, is an accomplished business leader. One of his core beliefs is that a business is larger than any one person or any one of its stakeholders. With his core belief as a directive, Andy strives to get all stakeholders in a business to embrace common goals and purpose, then align business strategies and functions in pursuit of that purpose.

In 2015, Andy founded BottomLine Development Group, a business strategy firm based in Beaufort, South Carolina. At BDG, Andy worked with clients in fractional C-Suite roles. He provided his clients with greater financial insight which helped them increase their profitability. In March 2022, Andy relaunched BOTTOMLINE DEVELOPMENT GROUP, LLC, where he is a partner with his wife, Holly.

Andy began his career in the early 1990's as a staff accountant a manufacturing business. Over the years, he learned the business inside-out through the various roles he’s served, including Controller, CFO, COO and eventually President. He became a highly effective and experienced leader in finance, global sourcing, sales, and business development.
South Carolina has been the center of Andy’s life and vocation. He grew up just outside of Kershaw, SC where he built a family and a successful career. Andy has spent XXX years working to create successful businesses in South Carolina's Lowcountry.
